Our Story
Welcome to WALK THRU, where scripture comes alive beyond the surface reading.
I created WALK THRU after years of experiencing the same pattern: reading Bible passages that seemed familiar, only to discover profound insights hiding in plain sight. These revelations transformed not just my understanding of scripture, but my entire relationship with God.
Through prayer and study, God revealed to me that Christians today are struggling with two fundamental challenges:
1. How to Read the Bible Properly
The Bible is a book—but not just any book. It's a collection of different literary genres (history, poetry, prophecy, letters, apocalyptic literature) spanning thousands of years. Too many believers approach it like any other book, reading straight through without understanding how to engage with each unique section.
2. How to Interpret It Correctly
The Bible was written for us but not to us. While its truths are timeless, each passage was written in a specific historical context, to a specific audience, addressing specific circumstances. Without understanding this context, we risk misinterpreting God's Word and missing its proper value.
Too often, we skim through the Bible, missing the rich layers of meaning embedded in every chapter. We settle for surface-level readings when the text invites us to dive deeper—to walk through it step by step, uncovering treasures that have been waiting for us all along.
That's the heart behind WALK THRU: creating a space where we can slow down, examine the details, learn proper reading and interpretation skills, and discover the extraordinary wisdom hiding in what might seem like simple stories.
